ADPi 98 Pledge Class 10 Year Reunion

10 years later
May 2012 Memorial Day Beach Weekend - Grayton Beach, FL
2012 marks 10 years since most of us in the Class of 98 ADPi Pledge Class graduated from UT. We planned a special beach trip to celebrate. We usually do something in January over Martin Luther King weekend and have done so for the past 9 years. This year we headed to 30A to spend a long Memorial Day weekend in Grayton Beach. Our beach house fell through but Kenz's dad, Hank, offered to host us and we could not have had a better time at Alligator Cove. We had a wonderful time relaxing, laughing, catching up, and eating!

Liz surprised us with official t-shirts!!!

Two of my favorite pictures from Day 1. Liz being Liz and LeeAnn and Baby de Abiega. She actually is a lot smaller than this picture but I love it!

Captain Hank took us on a boat ride on Alligator Lake, a little sunset cruise if you will. It was relaxing and afterwards we saw an alligator!
Dinner and then dancing with DJ Jazzy Jeff at Local Catch. I think we were still home by 11pm!

Day Two: Hank loaded up the car and we went to Grayton Beach with our cherished Tervis Tumbers. I am not sure when we will be too old to poise for pictures like this.

After Dinner at Red Bar - we missed the sunset pictures
We kicked off Pre-Memorial Day with our pajamas still on and Mimosas in our hands. I love this picture! Just chatting with my sisters. I wish I could have breakfast with these gals every weekend like on Sex in the City.

Don't you just love this backdrop! Cheers to friendship and a great reunion!
On Sunday, we headed to Water Sound to meet up with Michelle and Rachel and spend the day.
It was great to see these gals! You could tell we were no longer carefree gals since we spent this day with 30+ sunscreen on, hats, and full umbrellas!
After our fun in the sun, we headed to the Witton's new beach house. It was amazing and Michelle had done a great job with all the personal touches. Her boys CJ and Cooper joined us for some of the festivities.
We surprised LeeAnn with a Baby Shower for Baby de Abiega. I think she was truly surprised. We thought an Americana and State theme was appropriate.

Kristy made cookies and brought all the way from Annapolis, MD. She is so talented!

We love our shirts Liz and will wear them proudly!
We had our last meal together in Seaside at the food trucks. It was great just to relax and spend time together.
10 Year Reunion Trip comes to an end.
See you in January 2013!

Please Tell Santa

"Mommy, the reason I want to check out this book from the library is because I want Santa to know that I want a dog for Christmas, that's why," says Gaines Odom.

By the way, I have told him numerous times he must be 10 to have a dog and if you ask him how old he has to be he says "6."

Gaines A.K.A Jack

Gaines's latest "obsession" is Jack and the Beanstalk. Mom found these fairy tale cds that I have to listen to in my car that are terrible and Gaines loves them. Needless to say, Gaines refuses to learn the letter A but can do this - ROLLING:

How Will Spent His 2nd Birthday

Will turns 2 today! We had such a fun day on his official birthday. As if we could possibly celebrate this child anymore than the weekend extravaganza we just experienced.
If you ask Will how old he is, he says, "I'm three." He wants to be just like his big brother! He will finally say "2" and hold up 2 fingers.
Poppy came over to watch Gaines this morning where Will and I could head off to his two year check-up. Will is not use to going anywhere without Gaines so all I heard for the first 15 miles was "Gaines?"

We had a great check-up and I had promised Will a stop at the donut shop so off we went. He has such a sweet tooth. He picked out a glazed donut and wanted to sit at the counter to look at the window. He just sat and watched the people outside. So big!

Posing with Poppy before our next stop.

We had to do our daily trip to Target to get some last minute things for Mommy's beach trip.

Will (Gaines actually) chose Chic-fil-a for lunch and then wanted to play in the little play area.

Hanging out with Mommy after naptime

Having an afternoon snack outside of cheese and more cheese and blueberries. Playing tag with his Big brother. They actually somewhat play together outside.

His buddy Hayes got him some golf clubs for his birthday and Will is practicing his swing. These are dangerous!

FINALLY, GOOD NIGHT! HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY WILL ODOM!!!

Will's Birthday Brunch

Will's Birthday Extravaganza ended on Sunday with a Birthday Brunch. We started this tradition with Gaines's 2nd Birthday and we invite our family and friends that have traveled in from out of town to come over and eat and open gifts with us. This year was so much fun. The kids actually got to play and I think some of the adults got to actually catch up (maybe a little!).

ALL-STAR COUSINS
We kicked off Will's After-Party with a cousin sleepover at our house.
We missed Baby Joshua and Kalee in out cousin picture.

We are so glad the Kelly Family could join us!
Will cracking up at his Handy Manny card that Nonni and Poppy gave him

Aunt Stacie gave Will his very first piggy bank. Daddy gave him a dollar and he replied, "1 more."
So he went to Papa Jim for some more money. He didn't want his dollar, he wanted his credit card. Times are changing!
Will's Great-Great Aunt Nita showed up with her famous M&M cookies and Will had to take a break from all the gifts and relax a little with his cookie.
Cheese! Thanks Melissa Hill for my new desk
I think he is wearing down from all this partying.
Uncle R.M. and Aunt Nita joined us
Cousin Em loves her some Will and I think Will might be the President of her Fan Club.
