ADPi Girls Weekend

This year for our annual ADPi Class of 98 Pledge Class weekend we headed to the mountains. Melissa coordinated our trip and found us a great place in Wears Valley, TN right in between Townsend and Pigeon Forge, TN. This was our 11th girls weekend. We had a blast! It was one of my favorite girls weekends besides maybe our Grayton trip. We could not have had more "girly" activities from Bunko to a pinterest party.

Kristy made this amazing cookies and brought them all the way from Annapolis.
Our first game of the weekend - HEADBANDS
I was Game Chair this year and I think Kristy will be taking over next year.
Liz is our official t-shirt chair.
LOVE THE DESIGN FOR THIS YEAR!!!

Saturday we all slept in and had a late brunch and headed to the hot tub. We did have an interesting morning trying to be MacGyver and figuring out how to make coffee without filters, needless to say Kris and Jess headed off to the store. As soon as they left a tree fell blocking the road and knocking out the power for a while. They finally returned and we had coffee!

Skyping with LeeAnn and Carolina
Watching a movie in our theater.
Teaching the gals Liverpool Rummy, a Gaines family tradition. Everyone loved it except for Mel, a little too long for her taste.

Jess was in charge of our craft or pinterest party.
We made ADPi Christmas Ornaments. I love crafts!!!

We did manage to get a game of Bunko in on Sunday night!
On Monday, we had a tour and lunch at the new ADPi House. It just opened in the fall and it is beautiful. They have talked about this happening since we were in college.
Garrick and I have an ongoing debate on whether I included my "full" name on our donation to the house. This is his proof that his name is also on the wall!

I love this picture! This was taken in the foyer.

The meeting room and dining hall

Seeing one of our composites on the wall. We were so excited!
We ended up locating all of our composites except one our junior year.
Christy Circa 1998-1999, 1999-2000, and 2001-2002

Eating our first lunch at the ADPi house. We could not even imagine this being our place for lunch versus Smokies in the UC.
Completing the diamond in front of the house.
